Watermelons on my Fingers

It’s summer here and I’m emulating that in my nails today. (Also, I’m really hungry for watermelon, but that’s a side note!)

Here’s how to replicate it:

Paint the bottom half your nails with a white or silver. If you have tape to make a straight line, you can do that. Since I didn’t have any, I just painted over my hands to ensure I got an even line.

Paint over that with a mint or green color to make the rind.

Using a nail art pen, I added the seeds.

*Tip – My first college roommate taught me this tip to get nail polish off your hands. Put your hands in a bowl of cold water and then the polish will easily come off your skin, but not your nails!*

  1. I absolutely love this look! But, I am way too bad with nails to ever be able to pull it off!

  2. Such a cute design!

  3. Soso cute. I can just imagine how much cuter eating watermelons with that nail polish design must look (if eating watermelons is cute at all)
